PULLMAN - Two LC Valley residents have been arrested in Pullman on narcotics charges after they were caught with a stolen vehicle.

The case began Thursday morning when Whitman County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary at a home in Rosalia. A 78-year-old woman told deputies that her Cadillac was stolen during the burglary.

About an hour later Pullman Police Officer Ryan McNannay spotted the stolen car parked at Walmart. 20-year-old Brady Trott of Clarkston was reportedly in the Cadillac and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. Trott was also arrested for methamphetamine possession.

Walmart security staff used surveillance cameras to identify a woman who was allegedly riding with Trott in the stolen car. 31-year-old Meaghan Slaney of Lewiston was taken into custody on arrest warrants out of Asotin County. Pullman Police reportedly found her with over 200 fentanyl pills and she was arrested on additional charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The Rosalia woman got her Cadillac back this morning.
